My agent got back to me with her thoughts on the manuscript. Looks like I have a little bit more work to do on the draft. Overall, she liked what I had done, but there were a couple of places where she had trouble believing what I had set up. I think the notes are pretty good, but it means I have to rethink what I have Barnabas doing at the mall and how Jaime sees him. They're big notes, but not insurmountable. Overall, I'm pretty happy with what my agent had to say.
I'm going to try to get to the revisions on the weekend after the residency is done, and after I've had enough time to get to the halfway point of the sequel. I don't want to lose momentum on one novel to fix up the other one.

You go, Marty! A Close Shave is near and dear to me and I'm loving that you're still working on it.
