I think I found my summer book. It's the first in a trilogy by director Guillermo del Toro and it's called The Strain. Apparently, it's about vampires. Normally, I'm not a fan of the fanged fiends, but something about the synopsis grabbed my attention. The book (I'm hoping) seemed more like a zombie novel. I can't wait to crack it open and find out.
