I'm trying to do a general revision of some major problems in the manuscript, but I find myself digging deeper into the passages to find character moments. Lots of little details that don't contribute to the story, but add to the character. I'm not sure why I'm so focussed on that right now, but I think it's because the characters, especially the new ones, are demanding to be fleshed out. I'm slogging away at a chapter a day. At this pace, I should still have enough time to do a punch up draft and a polish by the end of September.
