Hecklers

I'm still shaking my head at this one. I learned from my actors, that a very drunk woman came to see one of the weekend performances of The Bone House, and became belligerent and mocked the show.

I can understand that not everyone will enjoy my work, but the price of admission doesn't give ticket buyers the right to be jerks. You can always exercise your dislike with your feet and walk out.

The actors work hard to create an experience for the audience and the rest of the audience is there to enjoy themselves. This selfish act of heckling told me that this woman hadn't received enough attention in her own life and decided to take it out on people who were only try to entertain. All I can say is that I feel sorry for this woman and I wish that she finds true joy in her life so that she can stop spreading her misery to others.

She was sitting behind one of my friends, if it's the woman I am thinking of. If it's any consolation, after the first few interruptions, my friend turned around and hissed at her to "kindly shut the (expletive) up." After that, we didn't hear a peep from Ms. Heckler and she bolted from the room the second the lights went up. I don't think it was a criticism of your work so much as a poorly timed declaration to the world that she had no class.
